Wassan Al-Khudhairi, chief curator of the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, leads a guided tour of the exhibit “Hayv Kahraman: Acts of Reparation.” The tour will be followed by a viewing of the performance “Gendering Memories of Iraq” in which Iraqi-born artist Hayv Kahraman orchestrates a transformative performance that reflects on concepts of diaspora, immigration, and community. The performance will feature five performers from the St. Louis community who will bring to life a script that is at once personal and part of a collective memory.
